Who we are

A UAE platform building processing capacity for the next industrial era.

SOLIDUS Industrial Processing FZE is the UAE-incorporated holding platform behind STING, an infrastructure-grade industrial processing entity aligned with the UAE's industrial vision. We are building thermochemical processing capacity domestically through a long-horizon partnership model that strengthens margin, technical capability, and industrial employment inside the UAE.

The platform

STING: Simultaneous Transesterification and Cracking.

A thermochemical conversion process that combines two reactions in one high-pressure, high-temperature reactor. Supercritical methanol acts as both reactant and solvent, eliminating catalysts and driving near-complete feedstock conversion.

One reactor

01

Non-catalytic operation

Removes catalyst procurement, handling, and disposal. Simplifies the product stream and lowers operating cost.

02

Feedstock flexibility

Handles high-FFA, mixed, and degraded inputs that conventional catalytic plants routinely reject.

03

Near-total utilization

Greater than 95% conversion in under 10 minutes, maximising yield from every tonne of waste oil input.

04

Modular scalability

Supports modular replication, from pilot validation through to 50,000 MT/year industrial scale.

Process flow

From waste stream to renewable fuel.

A closed-loop industrial process sequence with methanol recycle integration and clear unit-operation connectivity.

01

Feedstock receipt

UCO, animal fats, high-FFA streams

Inputs

Built to accept what others reject.

STING is engineered to process high-FFA and degraded lipid streams that conventional catalytic processing systems typically cannot handle.

Used cooking oil

All grades from hospitality & commercial kitchens.

Animal fats & tallow

Residual lipids from food processing.

Renewable lipids & oils

Vegetable oils and renewable lipid streams.

High-FFA industrial waste

Elevated free fatty acid streams from industry.

Mixed & degraded lipid streams

The streams conventional catalytic plants reject. Typically the lowest-cost, highest-volume feedstocks in the market.

Why now

Regulation and feedstock scarcity are moving faster than new capacity.

Four converging policy mandates are reshaping demand for certified waste-based renewable fuels, and global feedstock supply is tightening.

RED III European Union

29% renewable share, or 14.5% intensity reduction by 2030.

Raises pressure on renewable transport fuels across all EU member states.

ReFuelEU Aviation In force

2% SAF from 2025, climbing to 70% by 2050.

A long-dated SAF mandate creating structural demand for waste-derived renewable fuels.

FuelEU Maritime Jan 2025

GHG intensity cuts: 2% in 2025, 80% by 2050.

In force since January 2025; cuts permitted GHG intensity for shipping fuels on a steep trajectory.

EU UDB Since 2024

Structural feedstock traceability, required since 2024.

The EU Union Database requires verifiable traceability across the renewable fuel supply chain.

Global feedstock competition is intensifying.

Supply is increasingly constrained. Indonesia has restricted UCO exports to protect domestic biofuel supply, and other source markets are following. Those who validate and position now will secure the scarce industrial position later.

The UAE opportunity

A doubling market, and a closing window to capture it.

The UAE used-cooking-oil market is forecast to more than double in less than a decade. Today, most of that value leaves the country unprocessed.

UCO Market 2024

$284M

Current value of UAE UCO generation and trade.

Projected 2033

$602M

Forecast size, driven by regulatory mandates and hospitality growth.

CAGR 2024 to 2033

8.7%

Among the strongest UAE industrial commodity segments.

Collection gap

Less than half of UAE UCO is processed domestically.

Lootah Biofuels, the UAE's leading UCO collector, gathers about 300,000 litres per month through its smart-app network. The rest is exported unprocessed or lost informally.

National alignment

Built to advance the UAE's national industrial commitments.

Net Zero 2050

Domestic renewable fuel production displaces petroleum diesel imports, reducing lifecycle carbon across transport and industry.

Circular Economy Policy

Closes the waste-oil loop within UAE borders, turning a waste liability into a certified industrial commodity with no material leakage.

Operation 300bn

Adds high-value manufacturing GDP and skilled industrial employment, supporting the goal to double manufacturing's UAE contribution.

JAFZA Industrial Growth

Anchored in JAFZA with direct port access and proximity to EU, UK and APAC lanes, ready for domestic and regional offtake.
